Common questions

Can I buy a plot for someone else?

Yes.  When you place your order you will need to fill in the details of the recipient. This can be any name that you like.

Can I have my plots next to each other?

Yes. As long as the plots are the same size, then all the plots you order at the same time will be next to each other. Any plots ordered later may be part of a different block, though they will be close by.

Can I download a copy of the certificate?

You will be emailed your certificate following the checkout process on our website.

You can also obtain a copy from our welcome page. From there you can download an electronic copy of your certificate, access our virtual Handbook, experience our Pan360 virtual tour as well as some other cool features via the Highland Titles Welcome page.

Please bear in mind that the certificate is formatted to print on A5 size paper and not US letter size paper.  You may need to reformat the certificate if you need to print on letter size paper.

If your order was made prior to 17th September 2023, please visit our old Login Page with your plot details.

How can I track my order?

Please visit and enter your tracking details there.

About your order

Refund policy

We offer a 100% 90-day “No Quibble” Money Back Guarantee.

Please see our full terms here

Please note that in instances where a customer has only ordered a digital download, we cannot guarantee a refund because of the nature of digital products. This is consistent with UK consumer law.

When will my gift arrive?

The physical gift packs are dispatched within 48 hours. The majority of orders are dispatched within 24 hours. Typically orders within the UK will be delivered in 5 – 7 working days, 7 – 10 for Europe and then 10 – 14 for the rest of the world.

You can also get a downloadable version of your certificate as soon as you have purchased it by visiting our welcome page using the full name of the recipient and once logged in you will be able to download the electronic version of the certificate (in pdf format).

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship overseas to the majority of countries.  We use the services of Asendia, a joint venture between La Poste and Swiss Post to provide a wide range of international delivery solutions. All of our orders are sent tracked to customers. When your order ships, we will email you a tracking code.  The courier service engaged depends on the destination country so it is best to use a tracking app such as to track your package.

Once we have posted your documents we are unable to influence how quickly your package is delivered.  Please order in good time to avoid disappointment.

Delivery details

I never received any acknowledgement of my order!

Several emails are always sent to your email address automatically.

The first acknowledges receipt of your order. The second sends you an electronic copy of your certificate which you can print or view online.

If you have ordered one of our physical products, such as a luxury gift pack, you will receive an email notifying you of dispatch and providing a tracking number.

Many email systems are set up to protect you from unsolicited emails and they may see our emails as “Spam”.

So long as you have provided a valid email address, we can always resend these emails.

Your plot

What if I get married or change my name?

Simply request a reissue of documents, which you can request via our Customer Support Team.   There is a small cost associated with this request.  More information on changing your name is available from our Deed Poll page.

Do I need to legally register my plot or involve solicitors / lawyers?

No. You cannot register your plot, because it is such a small area; specifically it is defined as a “souvenir plot”.

‘Souvenir’ plots of land have been sold in Scotland for over 30 years. The sale of these plots is governed by the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979, recently revised as the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012. Please note that this act does not permit souvenir plots of land to be added to the Land Register.  Read more about souvenir plots of Scotland.

How will I know which plot is mine?

The location of each plot is unique.

When you login to our Welcome page, you will be able to see your plot on Google Maps alongside its What3Words identifier.

What information do I get about my plot?

If you have been given a plot, you can download an electronic copy of your certificate, access our virtual Handbook, experience our Pan360 virtual tour as well as some other cool features via the Highland Titles Welcome Dashboard. Please have your plot number to hand and visit and follow the on-screen instructions.

In our Welcome Dashboard, you will see the exact location of your plot on Google Maps, as well as the What3Words string that identifies the 3m x 3m box your plot is in.

If your plot was purchased a long time ago it may not be linked to your account.

If all else fails, please contact us.

Can I visit the land?

Yes, and we encourage you to do so. Our plots are now sold from our Kilnaish Estate, which is remote, but for the full visitor experience you’ll want to visit the Highland Titles Nature Reserve at Duror, near Glencoe. Here we have a Visitor Centre and Guided Tour service (booking essential). Please note that plots are no longer sold from Duror but this reserve showcases our story.

How to visit

Book a guided tour

The physical location of each plot is not marked on the ground, and we would prefer to leave the land untouched, so if you do visit your plot on any of our reserves, please do not mark it once you have found it.

NFT Plots

What is the carbon footprint of NFTs?

Our NFT plots are minted on the Polygon blockchain, which went carbon neutral in 2022 and is aiming to go carbon negative.

What is an NFT plot?

Our NFT plots are mix of digital (NFT) and physical (the land) assets. The digital NFT file confirms your legal right, specifically a personal right of ownership, to a souvenir plot of land on the Highland Titles Nature Reserve. The exact location of your plot of land is recorded in the NFT metadata.

Is each NFT plot of land unique?

Yes. Each NFT is unique because the metadata contains unique latitude and longitude co-ordinates.

Do you need a digital wallet to buy an NFT plot?

No. We have partnered with specialist NFT developers so you don’t need any crypto experience at all! You can buy using your normal payment method and your NFT will be minted on the Polygon blockchain. You will receive everything you need directly via email.

If I buy an NFT plot, can I style myself a Laird, Lord or Lady of the Glen?

Yes, all of our customers have our permission to use our registered trademarks, Laird, Lord and Lady of the Glen.
