We cannot sell you a title. We are simply acknowledging your right to use the title of Laird, Lord or Lady of the Glen, which are our registered trademarks. Advice published by Scottish Solicitors is “in Scotland anyone can, subject to requirements of good faith, call themselves whatever they like, including “Laird”, “Lord” or “Lady“.” We do not know of any jurisdiction where this is not true.
You will be emailed your certificate following the checkout process on our website.
You can also obtain a copy from our welcome page. From there you can download an electronic copy of your certificate, access our virtual Handbook, experience our Pan360 virtual tour as well as some other cool features via the Highland Titles Welcome page.
Please bear in mind that the certificate is formatted to print on A5 size paper and not US letter size paper. You may need to reformat the certificate if you need to print on letter size paper.

Yes, we ship overseas to the majority of countries. We use the services of Asendia, a joint venture between La Poste and Swiss Post to provide a wide range of international delivery solutions. All of our orders are sent tracked to customers. When your order ships, we will email you a tracking code. The courier service engaged depends on the destination country so it is best to use a tracking app such as www.parcelsapp.com to track your package.
Once we have posted your documents we are unable to influence how quickly your package is delivered. Please order in good time to avoid disappointment.
Please see our delivery page for further details
We offer free Delivery on the majority of orders.
Some countries appear not to handle regular airmail well and we find that only a tracked service is reliably delivered. These countries are not eligible for our free airmail delivery service.

Several emails are always sent to your email address automatically.
The first acknowledges receipt of your order. The second sends you an electronic copy of your certificate which you can print or view online.
If you have ordered one of our physical products, such as a luxury gift pack, you will receive an email notifying you of dispatch and providing a tracking number.
Many email systems are set up to protect you from unsolicited emails and they may see our emails as “Spam”.
So long as you have provided a valid email address, we can always resend these emails.
Eco Friendly Download
The Eco-friendly Download is not delivered in the same way as our other plots of land. There is no luxury gift pack, parchment certificate with embossed seal, App Access card and everything else that the postman brings to your door.
Instead, you will be emailed your certificate following the checkout process on our website. You can then immediately log into our welcome page. From there you can download an electronic copy of your certificate, access our virtual Handbook, experience our Pan360 virtual tour as well as some other cool features via the Highland Titles Welcome page.
With your digital certificate, you can view it on-screen, print it locally, either on your own printer, a friend’s printer or a local Print store printer. You can save it, email it, post it to social media and in every way own and enjoy it.
Your plot
Simply request a reissue of documents, which you can request via our Customer Support Team. There is a small cost associated with this request.
No. You cannot register your plot, because it is such a small area; specifically it is defined as a “souvenir plot”.
‘Souvenir’ plots of land have been sold in Scotland for over 30 years. The sale of these plots is governed by the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979, recently revised as the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Act 2012. Please note that this act does not permit souvenir plots of land to be added to the Land Register. Read more about souvenir plots of Scotland.
The location of each plot is unique.
When you login to our Welcome page, you will be able to see your plot on Google Maps alongside its What3Words identifier.
If you have been given a plot, you can download an electronic copy of your certificate, access our virtual Handbook, experience our Pan360 virtual tour as well as some other cool features via the Highland Titles Welcome Dashboard. Please have your plot number to hand and visit www.highlandtitles.com/welcome and follow the on-screen instructions.
In our Welcome Dashboard, you will see the exact location of your plot on Google Maps, as well as the What3Words string that identifies the 3m x 3m box your plot is in.
If your plot was purchased a long time ago it may not be linked to your account.
If all else fails, please contact us.
Yes, and we encourage you to do so. Our plots are now sold from our Kilnaish Estate, which is remote, but for the full visitor experience you’ll want to visit the Highland Titles Nature Reserve at Duror, near Glencoe. Here we have a Visitor Centre and Guided Tour service (booking essential). Please note that plots are no longer sold from Duror but this reserve showcases our story.
The physical location of each plot is not marked on the ground, and we would prefer to leave the land untouched, so if you do visit your plot on any of our reserves, please do not mark it once you have found it.
