About The Estate

In 2021, we bought the Kilnaish Estate, which is 300 acres of land near Tarbert on the West Coast.

We sell 1, 5, 10, 100 and 1000 square foot plots of land from here. As well as being a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), this land offers superb views off Scotland’s West Coast towards the Isle of Gigha.

Visiting Kilnaish Estate

We sell plots at Kilnaish Estate and you are welcome to visit should you wish, but please be aware that this is not an official visitor attraction like our main reserve at Duror, near Glencoe. It’s wild land and access isn’t easy.

Directions

If you do decide to visit the easiest way is using the What3Words location app. The location of the reserve on What3Words is:
///serenade.fish.calculating

If you prefer, here is the Google maps link.

To access the land, you must go through the main entrance gate which is on the B8024. There is a small parking area inside the gate, please do not park on the main road. Please open the gate, park in the small parking area inside, and ensure you close the gate behind you. All plots are accessed via the main entrance, but you enter at your own risk, as not all plots are easy to access given the terrain.

Please Note:

  • We kindly ask that all visitors respect the land and leave no trace of their visit to preserve the natural beauty of the estate.
  • Please be aware that weather conditions can change quickly, and access may become more challenging in wet or windy weather.
